Desa Dairy Farm 'The Little New Zealand'

Desa Cow Farm is the home of the local Desa milk brand, and the farm is popular with both locals and tourists, and it's not hard to see why! With a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Kinabalu overlooking verdant pastures, it's no wonder it's named 'The Little New Zealand' of Sabah. The main attraction here is the cow farm, where families can come to partake in recreational and educational activities such as feeding the calves and goats, as well as understand the milking process all the way to how it is used to make the final product. The real attraction here is the cattle farm, producing about 900,00 litres of milk per year. The farm is about 199 hectares, and most of the milking cows are Holstein Friesians breed, the highest milk producer of all cattle breeds. The live farm is not only the main attraction but so is the food.
