Just returned from a day trip to Nara with a nanny-level itinerary and minefield guide

🙆‍♂️I just came back from Nara recently I've organized all the strategies and minefield guides ✅For your reference for a day trip ▶️The 4 must-visit places in Nara are basically connected, Nara Park (Royal Deer Garden), Todai-ji (world-class wooden architecture), Wakakusa-yama (overlooking the entire city of Nara, and there are more deer and fewer people, highly recommended), and Kasuga-taisha (world-class garden landscape) · ✅Suggested itinerary Nara Park->Kasuga-taisha->Todai-ji->Wakakusa-yama Although this route involves a bit of backtracking, it allows you to save the best sunset time for Wakakusa-yama, trust me, it's really, really worth it! (For strategies on Wakakusa-yama, see my previous note) · 🚗Transportation From Osaka to Nara, take the train and get off at Kintetsu Nara Station If possible, be sure to choose the express line! Because the express line is at least 40 minutes faster than the regular line · 🌸Specific time schedule ▶️9:30 Depart from Osaka . ▶️10:10 Arrive at Kintetsu Nara Station Exit 2, right out to the shopping street, where you can buy a sandwich for breakfast . ▶️10:20 Go to Kofuku-ji Free admission, one of the seven great temples of the Southern Capital in neon lights . ▶️11:10 Go to Gango-ji Free admission, one of Nara's national treasures and World Heritage Sites, and one of the few five-story pagodas preserved to this day . ▶️12:00 Go to Nara Park There are too many people here, and the deer are all well-fed and mostly lying down, so I personally suggest solving lunch here . ▶️14:00 Kasuga-taisha From here, it starts to be very, very photogenic, with lush greenery filling your eyes, and many little deer shuttle through the stone monuments, mysterious and cute! If you have deer crackers in your hand, they will carefully come to your side, and at that time you can take a selfie with them, super cute haha . ▶️15:00 Todai-ji World-class wooden architecture! Those who like architecture really shouldn't miss it, as you will be amazed by the Great Buddha as soon as you enter the gate . ▶️16:00 Wakakusa-yama Few people and quiet! The deer are very lively! And you can also overlook the entire Nara from the mountaintop! Trust me, you can skip anywhere else, but you must go here! Just go for it with your eyes closed! Especially when the sun sets, the warm sunlight falls on the endless lawn, with a few deer around you, as if you've stepped into the animated world of Makoto Shinkai!
