A rich history in Yuantong Temple

#temples #100waysoftravel Situated in the northern part of Kunming, Yuantong temple is one of the most important temple inscribed at part of the National Cultural Relic. It has a history of more than 1200 years, built by the Nanzhao Kingdom King Yimouxun during the late eighth century. When you first enter the temple you will reach the Yuantong Hall with a delicat9e stone bridge across the pond connecting the main hall and the Mahavira Hall. There is also a stone staircase which leads you to the top of the hill and you can have a terrific panoramic view of the entire complex.
