Famous weeping sakura trees

Maruyama park and Yasaka Shrine Getting There - bus from kyoto station We decided to see the famous weeping sakura trees lighted up at night hence made our way here after dinner. We purposely crossed by Yasaka Shrine. The area is bustling with actvities! There were many stalls selling food. The other sakura trees also lighted up nicely. The main attraction here is of cause the weeping sakura trees, which were even protected by fence. Hordes of people stood around the perimeter to take photos. Thankfully they were perched on a hill hence it was rather easy to view it #kyoto #japan
