Kyoto Hanami | Leisurely picnic by the Kamo River

I love Kyoto, of course, the tranquil Kamo River is indispensable, this beautiful river flows through the city of Kyoto and bestows the most poetic moments upon everyday life. These past few weeks coincide with the cherry blossoms blooming along the banks of the Kamo River, take the subway to Kiyomizu-Gojo Station and come out you'll exclaim 'Wow~' amazed by the pink cherry blossoms along the riverbank they are indescribably beautiful. Below the Kamo River, there are those who jog, cycle, walk, or couples in love on a date, or those walking their beloved dogs, everyone seems so happy, spring is really too wonderful! I recommend everyone to visit Kyoto, be sure to choose a sunny and breezy day, bring some food and drinks for a picnic here, no need for formality, just sit anywhere and embrace the breeze. The herons from Miyazaki's animations, there are so many of them on the river, and they are not afraid of people at all, give them something to eat and they'll come running haha, as cute as pets. Staying in one place for a long time, you'll slowly blend into the local scenery. My Hanami, is right here by this Kamo River...🦆
