good coffee & breakfast

They roast and grind their own coffee beans and do a great pour over. The coffee in general is great but even made better, or butter in this case, by choosing the butter and honey toast combo. Had a really relaxed vibe, which was only slightly spoilt by a couple of American students chatting loudly instead of quietly like everyone else. Overall, very nice and friendly staff, all women dedicated to their craft. Deserve a stop when in this part of Kyoto. It is located along the canal. Grab a coffee and toast while you people watch.
