Arashiyama, Kyoto｜A hot spring hotel full of Kyoto style while incorporating Western design

I didn’t want to rush back and forth so I decided to stay one night in Arashiyama. #KyotoArashiyamaOnsen Hanadenco is a hot spring hotel very close to Hankyu Arashiyama Station. In addition to the hot spring bath in your own room, this hot spring hotel also has five hot spring baths, which can be used for 40 minutes each time. There are also hot springs. Large bathhouse. The whole hotel is on tatami, so everyone has to take off their shoes and lock them in the shoe cabinet. There will be a shoe cabinet in one room, and since my shoes are short boots, I almost can’t fit them in. Even the door key of a traditional hot spring hotel has a sense of age. Remember to grab a bathrobe near the shoe cabinet before going to the room. There will be different sizes to choose from. I booked the [Kyomachiya] semi-open-air bath Fukuno (JPY 88,000/one room, two meals). The basic facilities in the room are complete, and there are baskets containing supplies for bathing in hot springs. There are also tea sets for making tea. TV, dressing table, sofa, etc. The room is so big that you don’t have to worry about unpacking your luggage. There are two single beds but they are buried. They are quite comfortable to sleep on and the softness is just right. The dining location is at Beishan Yusui, and breakfast is also at the same place. For dinner, we had the banquet course "Four Seasons Yuzen" + domestic beef pottery, which was very rich. Breakfast is a rich set meal. Let’s start with the hot noodle soup to warm your stomach. The side dishes are also Kyoto’s local cuisine, and are paired with two kinds of grilled fish. Check-out time is at 11 o'clock, so after breakfast there is still time to soak in the hot springs before leaving. . .
