Turkey: an icon of Izmir, the Kordon

Kordon is a famous seafront promenade that stretches south from the Konak Pier to Konak Meydani. Its fully grassed and featuring paths which are suitable for both walking and cycling this promenade is also an ideal place for enjoying views of the gorgeous seafront and for watching the stunning sunset. You can walk for kilometers along the waterfront. Many coffee bars, pubs and restaurants along the way. Towards the Konak ferry boat station a lot of local people are fishing in the evening.
