The museum is like a time tunnel, with relics from the prehistoric Stone Age 500,000 years ago, as well as treasures from the Mohenjo-daro and Gandhara civilizations. Visitors can travel through time and see the evolution of currency and rare relics from Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Highlights include a 4,000-year-old pottery bullock cart, thousands of Buddha statues from the Gandhara period, and stone sculptures from the golden age of Buddhism. There are also rare ancient Qur'an manuscripts, carpets used by Mughal emperors, and ivory carvings of a thousand Buddhas and porcelain with Chinese characters, symbolizing the cultural exchange of ancient Pakistan.
