#islandtour
#100waysoftravel
Langkawi, a stunning island in Malaysia, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and duty-free shopping. My tour was a delightful blend of natural beauty and retail therapy. The island's pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and majestic waterfalls were awe-inspiring. As a duty-free haven, Langkawi offers exceptional deals on luxury goods, electronics, and local products, making it a shopper's paradise. The experience was enhanced by the warm hospitality and vibrant local culture. Whether exploring natural wonders or indulging in tax-free shopping, Langkawi exceeded all expectations. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking both relaxation and great bargains.
TOP NOTCH STAYCATION AT CASA DEL MAR, LANGKAWI
#staycation
We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Mar, a charming boutique hotel that's small yet beautifully designed.
Our room was on the ground floor, offering direct access to the pool and beach.
Each ground floor room comes with its own cozy courtyard and a private door leading to the pool and the beach.
The view from the room was simply stunning with both the pool and the beach in sight.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its exclusive private beach area along a section of Cenang Beach, which made the stay even more special.

Langkawi pulau payar is truly a treasure trove in West Malaysia
#langkawitrip
Malaysia has opened up visa free access, and many people will go to Sabah in East Malaysia for vacation. However, Langkawi is truly a treasure trove in West Malaysia, a much less popular seaside city where you can see the Glass Sea for a small amount of money! In 2018, I was able to fly directly to Langkawi, Guangzhou, on flight X5. If I drop on the ground, I can use it to obtain ringgit at the airport ATM and apply for a Malaysian SIM card. Langkawi mainly speaks English, but there is no need to worry too much about language issues. You can play smoothly with simple vocabulary and translation software! Recommended recording points? Paya Island is known as the "Nanyang Fortress Reef" because it is the island I love the most in Langkawi. The seawater is really clear, and you can see good bread downstream from the floating platform. When diving, many tropical fish will swim over. On the floating platform, you can enjoy a self-service breakfast with an unexpected taste. There is also a chance to see tropical fish that can only be seen in aquariums on the shore. Shark babies were purchased in town one day in advance
A HIDDEN PARADISE OF LUXURY
#langkawitrip
The Danna Langkawi is one of the most wonderful and spectacular resorts in Langkawi that we stayed at during our short visit.
We were given a complimentary shoulder massage upon arrival, along with some hot drinks.
Every corner of the resort is impeccable. It's private, luxurious and incredible. You must stay there at least once to understand what I mean.
The beach is all yours, whether you're relaxing by the shore or by the fish pond, in the cozy living areas or at the library.

Chasing Sunsets and Sandbars: A Perfect Day at Tanjung Rhu Beach
#langkawitrip #100waysoftravel #malaysia #beach #tanjungrhu
We went to Tanjung Rhu Beach not just for the stunning sunset, but also to catch a glimpse of the rare sandbar that appears during low tide. The experience was nothing short of magical as we walked along the sandbar, surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
We enjoyed delicious food and refreshing drinks by the poolside and beach at Tanjung Rhu Resort, making the day even more memorable. We were lucky to witness the sandbar in all its glory, adding a unique touch to our visit to this beautiful and serene location.
📌Check the Tides: The sandbar is only visible during low tide, so plan your visit accordingly to ensure you don’t miss it.
📌Bring Water Shoes: The sandbar can be a bit rough in some areas, so water shoes will make your walk more comfortable.
📌Stay for Sunset: The beach offers one of the best sunset views in Langkawi, so stick around to watch the sky light up with colors.
Sky-High Serenity: Discovering Langkawi's Stunning Views on the Sky Cab
#langkawitrip #langkawi #skycab
Our experience riding the Sky Cab in Langkawi, the world’s longest free span mono-cable car, was nothing short of breathtaking. We were blessed with a perfect day—clear, bright blue skies stretched endlessly above us. As we ascended, the stunning views unfolded beneath us, with the lush greenery of the island, the sparkling Andaman Sea, and distant mountains creating a picturesque panorama. You can purchase tickets on the spot or book them in advance through the website, making planning convenient. The ride was smooth and exhilarating, offering a unique perspective of Langkawi’s natural beauty—truly a highlight of our trip.
📌Go Early: To make the most of the stunning views and avoid crowds, try to arrive early in the morning. The skies are usually clearer, and you can enjoy a peaceful ride.
📌Check the Weather: Clear skies offer the best views, so check the weather forecast before planning your visit.

🇲🇾 Super affordable watersport in Langkawi
#watersports #100WaysOfTravel
Langkawi is a great place for water sports and their prices are affordable and it is not crowded on the beach too. You can play parasailing, jetski and many more other types of water sports. The most popular activity is parasailing and their parasailing is slightly different from Thailand. In Langkawi, you will board the boat and take off and landing on the boat. There will be a trainer with you on the same parasailing to guide you in the air. The total time spent in the air will be about 5 minutes. In Langkawi air space at Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang, there are always aeroplanes taking off and landing so you can be very close to the aeroplanes while sailing in the air.

🇲🇾 Infinity pool at Parkroyal Langkawi Resort
#poolhotel #100WaysOfTravel
This is such a family friendly swimming pool and also connected directly to the beach. At Parkroyal Langkawi Resort, the oversized ground floor swimming pool has many activities for both adults and children and a small section is also catered to the younger children. It is also a swim up bar and you can enjoy a cocktail in the pool. There are a limited of sun chairs here and the hotel also do not provide sun block lotion. But you can always go up to the beach which is just a few steps away from the pool. The vibes here are awesome and the cocktails are having promotion about 28 ringgit and all tax included.

🇲🇾 Adults only at Parkroyal Langkawi Resort
#poolhotel #100WaysOfTravel
On level 5 at Parkroyal Langkawi Resort, only adults above 18 years old are allowed at this infinity pool. No children are allowed here and they can go to the other swimming pool on the ground level. This adult only swimming pool is awesome and is a great pool for swimming laps too. There are two jacuzzi on each side of the pool and both are sheltered from the sun. This pool location is a great spot for spotting aeroplanes and parasailing and you can even spot eagles flying in the skies too. I also support the hotel management to make this pool for adults only.

A Quiet Escape: Langkawi Geo Park's Blend of Nature and Myth
#langkawitrip
Situated near the iconic Dataran Lang, it offers a serene escape on what feels like a "small" Langkawi Island within the island itself. The park is surprisingly spacious and tranquil, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling ferry jetty nearby. As you wander through its paths, you'll discover small gardens dedicated to the legendary tales of Langkawi, including Mahsuri and Dayang Bunting, among others. Each garden tells its own story, beautifully blending nature and folklore.
One of the highlights is the view of the majestic eagle statue, a symbol of Langkawi, standing tall in the distance. The park's open layout allows for an unobstructed view, making it a great spot for a leisurely stroll or simply to relax and soak in the island's rich heritage. Best of all, entrance to this hidden gem is free, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Langkawi's cultural tapestry without the crowds.
🇲🇾 A new resort in Langkawi – Parkroyal Langkawi Resort
#resorts #100WaysOfTravel
Fly from Changi Airport and you can get transported within one and half hour to the beautiful Langkawi in Malaysia. There are plenty of beaches and mountains in this island and also many nice resorts to choose from. I will recommend this newly open beach resort opened in 2023 located on Pantai Tengah. There are many types of suites and rooms to choose from and you can walk up to the beach from their swimming pool. There are also beach villa with private pool at Parkroyal Langkawi Resort and it is literally a few steps away from the ocean.

🛁 Enjoy a soak at Parkroyal Langkawi Resort
#hotelwithbathtub #100WaysOfTravel
All the bathtub lovers please like my trip moment to get inspired with bubble bomb and bubble bath at some amazing bathtubs during my vacations. Today I will bring you to Parkroyal Langkawi Hotel in my oversized bathroom with a free standing bathtub. My suite has an awesome views towards the swimming pool and Pantai Tengah but the bathtub is not situated on the balcony. The hotel has kindly setup up bathrub amenities right beside the bathtub and overflowing in the bathtub might be messy. So you can try by filling the tub half full and then submerge yourself before continuing to fill up the tub. I used a LUSH bathbomb with blue colour hues and it was so lovely.

Langkawi Skybridge Cable Car
#cablecars #100waysoftravel
During my recent trip to Langkawi, the SkyBridge and cable car experience was undoubtedly one of the highlights. It offered a unique combination of thrilling adventure and stunning natural beauty that I won’t soon forget.
The journey began with the cable car ride, which in itself was an exhilarating experience. As we ascended, the views became more and more breathtaking. The steep climb offered panoramic vistas of the lush rainforest, the Andaman Sea, and the scattered islands surrounding Langkawi. The ride was smooth and felt very safe, even for someone like me who is a bit nervous about heights.
Upon reaching the top station, we were greeted with even more spectacular views. There were several viewing platforms where we could take in the scenery and snap some incredible photos. The cool breeze at this altitude was refreshing and provided a pleasant respite from the heat below.
The main attraction, however, was the SkyBridge. This architectural marvel is a curved pedestrian bridge suspended high above the ground, offering an unparalleled view of the surrounding landscape. Walking across the SkyBridge was both thrilling and awe-inspiring. The glass sections of the floor allow you to look directly down into the lush valley below, adding an extra element of excitement.
The bridge is well-maintained and felt very secure, with safety rails and ample space for visitors to walk comfortably. There are also a few resting spots along the bridge where you can sit and soak in the views.
One thing to note is that there are quite a few stairs and some steep inclines, so comfortable footwear is a must. Also, it can get quite busy, especially during peak tourist seasons, so I recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds.
Overall, the Langkawi SkyBridge and cable car experience is a must-do for anyone visiting the island. It combines adventure, stunning scenery, and a bit of a thrill, making it a memorable part of any Langkawi itinerary.

Spectacular Views from Langkawi's Sky Bridge and Cable Car
#cablecars #100WaysOfTravel
The Langkawi Sky Bridge and cable car offer an exhilarating experience with breathtaking views. As you ascend on the cable car, you’ll be treated to a stunning panorama of lush mountains and the turquoise sea below. Langkawi's most popular tourist facilities? Actually, what makes Langkawi truly captivating are its vast natural beaches and water activities, followed by amusement facilities and jungle exploration.
To ride the Langkawi SkyCab, you need to purchase tickets at the Oriental Village entrance. The cable car spans 2.2 kilometers and is said to be the steepest cable car line in the world, offering excellent views of the mountains and sea.
