The Yellow River Iron Bridge The Lanzhou Yellow River Iron Bridge is the first bridge in the entire northwestern region of China to be built with foreign technology in modern history. Baita Mountain Park Baita Mountain Park is located in the northern part of Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and is named after the White Pagoda Temple on the top of the mountain. The White Pagoda and the Lanzhou Yellow River Iron Bridge form a majestic and magnificent picture, which is one of the symbols of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The White Pagoda was originally built during the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty. The temple has a rectangular plan with the White Pagoda in the center. The pagoda has eight sides and seven levels, about seventeen meters high, with a green top, a round base, and a pure white body, tall and graceful. To the south of the pagoda is the three great temple buildings, to the north is the hall of the Cundi Bodhisattva, and to the east and west are several side halls. The White Pagoda combines exquisite architectural structure and superb carving art, showing the intelligence and artistic creativity of ancient working people, and is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture. From the top of Baita Mountain, one can overlook the cityscape of Lanzhou.
