Riga - A old town with a big soul

Let me start by just saying : wow ! What a beating town. Riga is a small town and it’s possible to just keep on walking all day long and just stop and watch all the beautiful building all day long! If you get cold you can stop and have a glas of Balsam - the local drink from Latvia. If will make you warm in no time ! They have many cozy pubs and restaurants- and the price is great. For under 20euro you can have a drink and food for the night. We choose to do a free walking tour and on the tour we learn so much about the city. For example the story about the cat in the roof and why it’s facing the Opera. Make sure to put Riga on your next weekend trip away.
