When it comes to accommodation in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, where you stay is very important‼️ There is a small river in the middle of the Miao Village, with Dongshan (East Mountain) and Xishan (West Mountain) on either side. Dongshan is the residential area of the Miao people, and Xishan offers a view of the lights of Dongshan. ⛰️If you stay at the foot of the mountain, you don't have to climb, but it's close to the commercial area and can be noisy, and you can't see the Miao Village. ⛰️If you stay on the mountain, you have to climb, but you can overlook the entire Miao Village. It's far from the commercial area and close to the Miao residential area, so it's relatively quiet. In the end, I decided to stay halfway up Dongshan (Yangpai Village). I booked this homestay, which is in a panoramic view area, far from the commercial area, and close to the Miao residential area. The accommodation facilities are new, and the guest rooms are large by Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village standards. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the two large washbasins are very convenient. The terrace offers a 270-degree view of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, so there's no need to go to the viewing platform. It's very quiet at night. There's a projector, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The water here is all spring water, which is very smooth. You don't have to worry about your luggage, as the butler will pick you up and help you with your luggage. The Miao Village Museum is nearby, and you'll pass by Houjia Zhuang (delicious Miao cuisine) on the way to the paddy field area and the No. 3 and No. 4 Wind and Rain Bridges.
