Erna Gully is located in the Jiaermengcuo Scenic Area. It is a beautiful secret place hidden in the snow-capped mountains and canyons, with the tranquility and breath of the primeval forest. The forest coverage here is over 95%, with a variety of vegetation and green trees. There are snow-capped mountains, cattle and sheep, waterfalls, and the magical red stone beach, with gurgling water and mottled light and shadow. Jiaermengcuo is located in Luye Village, Shangmeng Township, northwest of Li County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of 4250 meters. It has not been overdeveloped and the natural environment is well protected. Among them, the Erna Gully scenic spot is more suitable for light hiking enthusiasts. The round trip distance is about 6.5 kilometers, climbing 400 meters, the highest altitude is 2800 meters, and the time is 3.5 hours. Drive from Chengdu, take the Rongchang Expressway, turn to 317 National Road and turn to Xuemeng Road, and arrive at the Red Stone Beach Scenic Area parking lot in about three hours. Then transfer to the local transfer car to the starting point of hiking. Pass through the Jiaermengcuo camp, pass through the primeval forest, cross the gurgling stream, and finally arrive at the destination Hellna Waterfall. Return to the starting point of hiking in the afternoon, take a transfer car back to the scenic area parking lot, and return. The transfer car is a van operated by local residents. The parking point is in the open space drawn in front of the residential building at the foot of the mountain. There are currently no complete supply facilities. Only the camp has instant noodles and barbecue to eat. You need to bring your own food and water on the road. Please note that garbage can only be recycled at the camp. You need to bring your own garbage bags on the way. Do not litter and protect the environment.
