Taoping Qiang Village is located in the eastern part of Lixian County and has a history of more than 2,100 years. The village has the most complete Qiang ancient buildings in the world. The unique and charming castle-style residential buildings, underground water network, four-eight channels, and the labyrinth-style building form a three-dimensional cross-road network and defense system on the ground, underground, and in the air. It is a classic work in Qiang architecture. The Yang Family Courtyard in the old village is the most complete and largest house in Taoping Qiang Village, with a history of more than 1,000 years. There are mazes, underground water networks, and Qiang fire ponds in the house. Several film and television works such as "Southward Journey", "Into the West", "Killing", and "Nine Miles Fragrance" have been filmed here. The "Public Welfare Action" program group of CCTV has also filmed and discussed here. There are six floors and seventy-two doors in the house, each of which embodies the architectural art of the Qiang nationality.
