I've been to Guizhou back and forth 20 times, and I recommend this most primitive ancient village!

In 2024, a new footprint was added to my map of China, and I got to know a new ethnic group, the Yao people, hidden in the deep mountains of Libo, Guizhou. The men here are the happiest because the matrilineal clan social system is still maintained here. The women do all the farming and work, and the men basically don't have to work. To pass the time, their daily routine is to drink and chat, and go out hunting, so this is still a gun-holding tribe. The first time I came here, I found it quite interesting. My friend and I set off from Chongqing, took a high-speed train for more than 3 hours to Libo station, and then drove for half an hour to reach our destination, 'Yao Mountain Ancient Village'. This time, my friend and I stayed in the same 'Yaochi·Xiaoqikong Homestay' as the celebrities, Bai Jingting and Xie Tingfeng, have checked in haha. After putting down our luggage and going out of the hotel for a stroll, this small village has quite a local character. The natural village here is well preserved, primitive and simple. You can see villagers wearing Yao ethnic costumes everywhere.
