At the Jinmao Hyatt Regency Lijiang, I saw the sun shining on the Golden Mountain from the hotel! I was lucky to catch a glimpse of the sun shining on the Golden Mountain early in the morning from the hotel corridor! Overall, it's one of the more recommended hotels in Lijiang~ The hotel facilities: Both the lobby and rooms are decorated in a Chinese style, and there is a shuttle service to the rooms (although it's actually quite close by foot). The room facilities are fairly standard; due to the Chinese style decoration, it appears a bit dark and retro, with a capsule coffee machine, but it seems there is no disposable bathtub cover. The hotel's surrounding environment: The hotel has a Chinese garden which I really like! There are many small animals (alpacas, ponies, border collies, black swans), which is great for bringing kids~ You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the suite's balcony or near the hotel restaurant! This is a huge plus! The hotel breakfast: There is a good variety of Chinese and Western dishes and fruits, as well as freshly cooked rice noodles. You can watch the sunrise and the sun shining on the Golden Mountain and then go to the restaurant for breakfast, enjoying the meal while admiring the view~
