Leaving the bustling city, I came to Lijiang and chose this homestay, spending a few lazy and peaceful days here. Gradually, I became free and unrestrained, enjoying the blue sky and white clouds of Lijiang, listening to the rain outside the window, with my favorite songs playing on a loop on my phone. In the evening, I sat in the rooftop garden on the third floor, watching the sunset and the evening glow, which brought me beautiful expectations for tomorrow. The homestay is located near the ancient city of Lijiang, very close to the center of the ancient city. Compared to the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, I prefer staying in the homestay, drinking coffee brewed by the owner, listening to music, and daydreaming in the garden. Just like the handwritten sign by the owner that I saw at first glance when I walked into the homestay: "I hope you choose a homestay because you like it, not because it's cheap. Just like marriage, it should be because of love, not because of compromise." I read many reviews about this homestay, and the most common comment was that the experience and immersion were very good, so I chose this homestay. The garden experience is excellent, especially the cold brew fruit tea paired with the rooftop scenery, absolutely amazing. The recent rain in Lijiang has made many travelers regret not being able to enjoy the outdoors, but it is precisely the rainy days that allow the homestay life, which cannot be experienced otherwise, to be revealed bit by bit. Watching a favorite series on the big screen projector, with the homestay's homemade yogurt and a waffle, it's an amazing rainy day homestay experience! In the evening, the housekeeper led a group of people to the Zhongyi Market, buying a lot of mushrooms. They truly experienced the excitement of wanting to eat fresh but fearing the sight of small creatures. The group returned to the homestay, busily washing vegetables. As the aroma of the chicken soup pot spread, guests who had gradually returned to the homestay gathered around, soon filling a large table with delicious food, creating a homely experience. A group of people from all over the country drank and chatted happily, it was so much fun. Applause should be given here.
