Feel free to add more! ① The altitude of Lugu Lake is not very high, so altitude sickness is generally not an issue. However, the temperature difference between morning and evening is significant, so it's recommended to bring warm clothes. The UV rays are quite strong, so make sure to apply sunscreen. ② The aquatic plant 'Shuixing Yanghua' blooms from mid-June to mid-September. You won't see it at other times, and it is edible, though you might need to get used to its taste. ③ The route around Lugu Lake: Langfang ➡️ Puluo ➡️ Caohai ➡️ Walking Marriage Bridge ➡️ Goddess Bay ➡️ Sichuan Lover's Beach ➡️ Luyuan Cliff ➡️ Xiaoluoshu ➡️ Gemu Goddess Mountain (Nise Village) ➡️ Lige Peninsula ➡️ Yunnan Lover's Beach ➡️ Daluoshu. ④ Transportation to Lugu Lake is inconvenient. You can only get there by taking a bus from Lijiang Bus Station or hiring a car. Due to poor road conditions and winding mountain roads, be cautious of falling rocks and landslides. Remember to bring motion sickness medicine. ⑤ For comfortable accommodation, choose a better lakeside room. Some even offer sunrise views and cost only two to three hundred yuan. ⑥ Don't trust the restaurants recommended by drivers or guides too much; they usually have partnerships. Use them as a reference and do your own research online. However, due to the remote location, online information might be limited. ⑦ If you want convenience and don't mind being a bit lazy, you can join a tour group from Lijiang. Don't go for the cheapest options, as they often have hidden costs. Tours costing less than 400 yuan are usually not purely for sightseeing. ⑧ Lugu Lake has an airport, but flights are infrequent and often canceled. It's still recommended to travel by car. ⑨ Lugu Lake is also known for its sugar heart apples. During the season, they are sold in markets and by the roadside. The dried apples made by locals are also quite tasty.
