Vieux-Lille autumn vibes 🗺️

#autumnbeauty I spent a lovely weekend in Vieux-Lille this autumn, and it was like stepping back in time 🍂. The cobblestone streets, old Flemish buildings, and charming cafés make this historic part of Lille feel so special. The whole area is perfect for wandering around, especially with the autumn leaves adding a warm glow to the city. Best of all, just walking around is free, and there’s so much to discover at every turn! The Grand Place is right nearby, and from there, I visited the Notre-Dame de la Treille Cathedral—free to enter and a true masterpiece of modern Gothic architecture. For a little treat, I recommend stopping by Meert, the famous pâtisserie known for its waffles 🧇. And if you love art, the Palais des Beaux-Arts is just a short walk away and costs around €7 to enter.
