Xiamen Liang's Ancient Castle is located in Xiamen Town, Lingshi County, Shanxi Province. It was built in the middle of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and took more than 300 years to complete during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The ancient castle is a castle-style residential building complex with a unique architectural style. The buildings in the ancient castle are mostly ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including the Yushi Institute, Baichi Building, Dafu Mansion, Yushi Mansion, Zhifu Institute, Daotai Institute, and Yongning Castle. Among them, the Baichi Building is a landmark building in the ancient castle. The building is 40 meters high and was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Xiamen Liang's Ancient Castle is a large-scale building complex built by the Liang family over more than 300 years and several generations. It is a representative work of the relatively few and well-preserved rural castle buildings in Shanxi Province.
