📝Tips:
✌️️To avoid crowds, it is recommended to go for a check-in at eight in the morning...
✌️️On rainy days when the roads are slippery, Mirror Mountain is not open, pay attention to safety, and bring mosquito repellent as there are many plants and mosquitoes
✌️️Drones are limited to a height of 120 and can only fly to Huguang Bridge; the area near the Wind and Rain Bridge is a no-fly zone
✌️️If you want to climb Mirror Mountain, you can enter from the north gate, turn left after entering, and follow the main road until you see the sign for Mirror Mountain, then turn left to go up the mountain (the road is very narrow, you're not wrong, just boldly go forward), and it takes less than 10 minutes to reach.
✌️️If you don't climb Mirror Mountain, you can enter from the east gate, which is close to the Wind and Rain Bridge. If you enter from the north gate, turn right after entering to go to the Crooked Neck Tree first.
✌️️Families with children can choose to drive electric boats or pedal boats, but please pay attention to safety.
✌️️Although sightseeing cars and small electric cars are convenient, you may miss the scenery along the way, so it is recommended to choose transportation according to your physical strength and interests.
When traveling alone in Liuzhou during the May Day holiday, one should always visit Longtan Park to enjoy the scenery
I finally arrived at Longtan Park in Liuzhou, the other side of the 'Anywhere Door'.
The history of Longtan Park can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. It is said that in ancient times, the gods of thunder and dragon were in charge of thunderstorms here, hence the name 'Dragon Thunder Victory Land'. The planned area of Longtan Park is about 544 hectares, famous for its karst natural landscape and subtropical karst plant scenery.
Opening hours: 6:00-22:00
❗️You can go boating, have a picnic, take a walk, enjoy the view, take photos to remember, and enjoy the beauty of nature.
📍The Crooked Neck Tree
📍The Wind and Rain Bridge
Make sure to take photos at both places, where the lake water and green trees complement each other beautifully.
❗️Outfit
Do not wear green clothes; white or light-colored clothes are more photogenic.
❗️There are many trees and mosquitoes, remember to bring mosquito repellent.
Because I was in a hurry to go to Yaobu Ancient Town with friends for makeup, I did not go to Jing Mountain to take photos.
When in Liuzhou, one must always take a stroll in Longtan Park.
Anyone who comes to Liuzhou, I would be sad if they missed this place
Liuzhou is not just about Luosifen
There's also a scenic niche park hidden away
Karst topography caves, S-shaped paths on the lake, the famous crooked tree...
This place is not only a natural oxygen bar, but also a great spot for photography
Anyone who comes to Liuzhou, I would be sad if they missed this place

The estimated time for visiting and taking photos is about 2 hours. It is recommended to arrive at the park before 8:00 am. All the photo spots are roughly distributed near the north gate, so it is suggested to start from the north gate. The park is very large and everywhere is scenic, friends who like taking photos can hardly walk away,
-
📷Photo spots
✅📍S-shaped path on the lake
The S-shaped path meandering in the lake makes you feel as if you are in a landscape painting
✅📍Wind and Rain Bridge
Ethnic style architecture, very photogenic
✅📍Crooked Tree
Trees growing at an angle, crystal clear lake water, freely swimming fish, it's like coming to 'Jiuzhaigou'
✅📍Big Banyan Tree
The big banyan tree that shades the sky, like a refuge for the soul, casually taking pictures is super atmospheric
✅📍Jingshan Cave
A natural cave formed by karst topography, wait for a sunset if you have time, it's especially romantic

📒Travel tips:

Chengyang Bazhai Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
High-speed rail direct access|The millennium Dong village is a paradise, preserving the original ecology of the village
High-speed rail direct access|The millennium Dong village is a paradise, preserving the original ecology of the village.
I still like it here when I brush Chengyang Bazhai for the second time
It really looks like an ancient village in a secret realm, escaping from the hustle and bustle
Rich and colorful Dong culture, although it is a scenic spot, it still retains the simple and pure Dong folk customs, the original ecological natural ancient village, terraces, wind and rain bridges, and Dong drum towers
Eight villages are connected together, and it really takes two days to finish the eight villages
•
Walking in the village, Dong houses are mainly wooden structures, with unique architectural styles, more like a piece of art
You can choose to live in the village, stay in a Dong house for one night, and the sound of climbing up the wooden stairs will definitely make you unforgettable
•
The Dong drum tower is also a symbol of the eight villages. Each village has a drum tower, and there is a square in front of it. Every time a festival comes, villagers will gather here to sing and dance, and gather together
•
You must experience the fire pond feast, a group of people sitting around a long table, with two stoves in the middle, eating and feeling the Dong culture
-
🚄Traffic strategy:
🟠High-speed rail direct to Sanjiang South Station
🟠Sanjiang South Station Tourist Distribution Center——Chengyang Bazhai Tourist Special Line Bus
Departure time: 10:00, 12:10, 14:50, 17:40
-
✔️Shooting and check-in position:
1⃣️Yongji Bridge (the most famous wind and rain bridge in the scenic area, Dong sister welcomes guests)
2⃣️ Sanjiang Drum Tower (small people and big scenery composition, highlighting the drum tower feature)
3⃣️Terraces (walking around the river, you can take pictures of terraces and houses, comfortable)
-
👗Clothing recommendation
You can experience wearing ethnic costumes for shooting, feeling the Dong style
There is a place to rent clothes 200 meters outside the wind and rain bridge, and there are many choices of costumes
In Sanjiang County, which borders Hunan and Guizhou in Guangxi, there are eight Yi villages. The main development villages are: Ma Anzhai, Pingzhai, Yanzhai. I have always been fascinated by the original ethnic customs in the Chengyang Bazhai. Because of the rain, the long table banquet was held in the Drum Tower. The unknown people sitting on a table were friends. The long table banquet not only can eat the food on their table, but also can be smashed into other tables. A special experience. When I was half-eaten, the host played a mountain stream and sang a toasting song while asking the guests to drink, so it was well-deserved.

At the border of Guangxi and Guizhou, there is a county that is not very famous but has produced several world records
At the border of Guangxi and Guizhou, there is a county that is not very famous but has produced several world records, which is astonishing! Curious friends might ask, where exactly is this place? What kind of unique scenery does it have? With these questions and curiosity, today let's talk about the stories of Sanjiang County. Sanjiang County is the abbreviated name for Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, which is under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Sanjiang County is located at the junction of the provinces (regions) of Hunan, Guangxi, and Guizhou, in the northern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Although Sanjiang County is not well-known, it has produced several world records, which is astonishing! Sanjiang County boasts unique green mountains and rivers, distinctive Dong village bridges and towers, and the purest and most authentic minority culture. It is known as the 'Hometown of World Bridges and Towers,' 'Hometown of World Songs and Dances,' 'Hometown of Hundreds of Festivals,' and 'Hometown of Chinese Ornamental Stones,' harboring rich tourism resources. Among them, the Chengyang Yongji Bridge in Sanjiang County is one of the four great historical and cultural bridges in the world. In Dong villages, there has always been a saying that 'where there is a village, there must be a drum tower; where there is a river, there must be a wind and rain bridge.' It is said that it took four years to quarry stones, prepare materials, and build piers for the bridge; three years to haul timber and construct the beams; and five years to erect pavilions, lay tiles, and decorate.

Yaobu Ancient Town Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
evening leisure time...
Yaobu Ancient Town ( 窯埠古鎮) is located in Liuzhou, in southern China's Guangxi Province. To get here, you can take a bus or private car. It is also just as simple to take a taxi and drop off at the entrance next to the street. The best time to visit is in the evening, when the sun sets over the river and the lights on buildings become illuminated. Walking in, you are presented with the river on the right and a collection of people selling souvenirs and snacks. Keep walking ahead towards the main square, where everything is centered around a very impressive large pavillion that stand out amongst everything else. It is very photogenic from all angles and I liked this building alot. There are various small alleys to explore, with coffee shops, bars and restaurants selling local food and many other types of cuisine. You can also view and purchase traditional arts and crafts here too. You can visit here anytime of year, but spring and summer are the best times-although beware of mosquitoes. In winter it can get a little cold in the evening next to the river. This is a great place for couples or families as I feel it caters for these two groups of people the best.

What to eat when traveling to Liuzhou?
First of all, we must praise Liuzhou for being a hot tourist city in the past two years. The merchants and taxi drivers, as well as various service personnel, are really nice. They are very enthusiastic, and they don't overcharge at all. Just for this, the experience is very good.
🔸Sister's Stir-Fried Luosifen at Shengli Night Market is very popular online, so I rushed there as soon as I got off the high-speed train. There were a lot of people, and you had to squeeze in to grab a spot. Girls, don't dress up too much haha~ Because it's low tables and stools, it's not very convenient to wear a skirt, and it's extremely hot... The dishes are served quickly but the taste is quite ordinary. My friend said it was delicious when she came to Liuzhou years ago before it became popular. Probably the chef is frying too much every day and has lost the passion for the taste.
🔸Qingyun Market is a morning market where you can buy local breakfast delicacies. Corn lovers must check out Zhang Ji's corn juice, with its strong corn aroma that you can smell from afar. Green rice ball cakes are also commonly seen.
🔸Wuxing Food Street, don't eat too much at Qingyun Market for breakfast~ Because we came to the food street for lunch! Glutinous rice dumplings, roasted chicken, and Luosifen are really delicious. Eating from the beginning to the end of the street, don't worry about getting fat at noon!
🔸Yao Bu Ancient Town, going to the ancient town to wear beautiful clothes and take beautiful photos is a favorite activity for many. There are also many foods in the ancient town. We tried Hao Chan's Luosifen, and the taste was really good! It's not the perfunctory taste of just eating something in a tourist area, I even think it's better than Sister's.
🔸Feng Zhang Luosifen & Ju Bao Luosifen, because the weather was too hot and we didn't want to queue up for Luosifen, we chose takeout. Feng Zhang's snail meat is really delicious, I think the noodles are a bit hard, while Ju Bao's noodles are of moderate softness and just right.
I found that there is actually no need to deliberately chase after popular stores and queue up. In fact, any Luosifen on the roadside is also delicious. Instead, some popular stores have lost the delicious taste they used to have because too many people go there. Are there any babies who have discovered more delicious stores? You can share in the comments section.
Liuzhou Three-Day Self-Drive Tour Without Stepping on Landmines Guide
Originally wanted to take the high-speed train but couldn't get a ticket
We decided to drive there ourselves
Arrived in Liuzhou at half past twelve on April 4th
Took a short rest and then went to have our first bowl of Luosifen
It's called Haoqiao Luosifen, just so happens to be near the hotel
In the afternoon, we went to Wuxing Food Street, there's so much to eat here
❶ Highly recommend Liu Fangfang's Duck Feet Pot, we ordered extra spicy, stewed a bit longer to enhance the flavor, it was delicious, at first we didn't realize and wondered why it wasn't spicy, but the more we ate, the spicier it got!
❷ A bite of taro, right next to the duck feet pot, really fragrant and mushy, we bought taro paste cakes, better eaten hot as they don't taste as good when cold
❸ Ding Dong Fried Ice or Lu Jie Fried Ice, tried it because many people recommended it, maybe I don't like fried ice that much, found it average but there were a lot of people queuing to buy, still worth a try
❹ Yang Sao's Tofu Pudding, not bad, those who like tofu pudding should give it a shot
❺ Instant Noodle Couple's Taro Ice, a big satisfying bowl, when I went to buy it there was only one bowl left, you can imagine how well it sells
❻ Rich Glutinous Rice Dumplings, many people recommended this, but I didn't get to buy it, went there late, searched for a long time only to find the vendor was about to close and sold out
In the evening, we went to Yaobu Ancient Town, you can see costume rentals and photographers everywhere, many pretty girls in beautiful clothes
On April 5th ❶ went to Longtan Park, there were so many people at the photo spots, first went to Jing Mountain, as soon as you hear it's on a mountain, we climbed the stairs, once up there was a huge queue waiting to check in, saw there were too many people and it started to rain so we came down, then went to the pavilion, there was a photo uncle charging five yuan per picture, also a lot of people queuing, sat for a while and then left, there were really a lot of people, the park is really big
❷ In the evening, went to Shengli Barbecue City, didn't specifically look for a famous restaurant, just went where it smelled good, the kiln chicken we ate was okay, their barbecue has a jam flavor, for us who love spicy food, it was just average but still worth a try haha
❸ Went to eat Fatty's Luosifen, not as bad as I imagined, ordered both fried and soup versions extra spicy, quite potent
On April 6th ❶ went to Qingyun Morning Market, arrived at 8:30 and it was starting to get crowded, lots of snacks, crystal dumplings | corn juice | green dumplings | tofu pudding etc., just buy from wherever there are fewer people, the taste is much the same, most recommended is Zhuohe Pork Shop, really delicious, thick and good texture
❷ Went to the Industrial Museum, very impressive, so many machines, really amazing 👍🏻
❷ Heard that the beef offal is very famous, originally went to eat Jiaojie Luosifen, but it was closed, just so happened there was a famous beef offal nearby, Tianshan Beef Offal, we ordered the signature cold dish, indeed the texture was good, sour and spicy, we who like spicy food thought it was good, worth a try
If you have enough time, take a ride on the water bus, go to Ma'anshan Park
Oh right, although we drove ourselves, we took taxis when going out, really convenient, and the prices are reasonable, no need to look for parking
Finally, you must try the local specialty of tea bran hair washing, super comfortable, especially good
The cost of living in Liuzhou is amazing! You can take photos and check in all day for 0 yuan!
📙Attractions, all the attractions we went to were basically free, such as: Yaobu Ancient Town, Liuhou Park, Wen Temple, Xilai Ancient Temple, Malu Mountain, Panlong Mountain, Liuzhou Museum, Music Fountain, Liujian Night View... It's so awesome haha😁

The Liuzhou Industrial Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
The 'Pride of Industry' in the Southwest, revisiting the glorious history of Liuzhou's industry
Liuzhou is a microcosm of China's modern industrialization process. Once popular products such as Shuangma fans, Dole refrigerators, Liangmianzhen toothpaste, Jinsangzi lozenges, and Baojun automobiles, all originated from Liuzhou.
The bamboo and wood industry (late Ming Dynasty) was one of the earliest crafts in Liuzhou. As early as the Tang and Song dynasties, Liuzhou's textile industry was quite famous. During the Song Dynasty, Liuzhou cloth was favored by merchants from all over.
As early as the Ming Dynasty, there were iron mining sites in Rongxian, Liuzhou. During the Yongzheng reign, Liuzhou was already capable of mass-producing bird guns and waist knives for military use.
In modern times, the people of Liuzhou have been industrious and dedicated to their country, nurturing a brilliant industrial culture and sowing the seeds of industrial development.
After the founding of New China, the people of Liuzhou were enlightened and open-minded, daring to be pioneers, initiating the construction of a new industrial city, forming a modern industrial system, and laying a solid industrial foundation.
In the early 1960s, in response to the increasingly severe international situation, China decided to build a complete national defense industrial strategic rear base in the southwest and northwest regions, commonly known as the 'Third Front' construction.
Guangxi, following the site selection principles of 'relying on mountains, dispersion, and concealment,' built a number of military, electronics, shipbuilding, aerospace 'Third Front' factories, and military mobilization production lines, and also organized a large-scale production and construction campaign.
To this day, the achievements of this 'Third Front' construction still play an important role in China's national defense and economic construction.
After the reform and opening up, the people of Liuzhou have been innovative and entrepreneurial, constantly striving to become stronger, driving economic upgrading and urban transformation, achieving industrial leapfrogging and continuous improvement of the ecological environment.

Liuzhou's industry began in the Republic of China and was founded in the early days of liberation. The development of Liuzhou's industry has witnessed the tremendous changes in Liuzhou over the past century and the achievements from 'Made in Liuzhou' to 'Created in Liuzhou'.
During the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties, the formation of Liuzhou's river transportation hub and the development of handicrafts established Liuzhou's status as a central commercial port in the region of Guangxi.
Sailboats filled the Liujang River, and there were more than twenty docks in succession. The docks in the middle section of the north bank of the river were where large merchants set up brokerage firms (also known as Pingma firms or Jiuba firms) to cluster and operate, mainly handling the import and export business for traders.
The Westernization Movement introduced a large number of Western scientific and technological achievements, and a batch of modern industrial entities appeared in Liuzhou. In the 1860s, Fuchuan County and Hexian County in Guangxi established the Hefu Official Mining Bureau and Xiwang Coal Mine, mining coal and tin.
In 1909, Yang Daolin, a member of the Westernization faction, founded the Huaxing Wood Plant Company, pioneering the machinery and woodworking industry in Liuzhou. During his tenure as the prefect of Liuzhou, Yang Daolin also founded schools and built Liuhou Park for free public access.
The 'Sino-British Geng Fund' bullhead planer was a product provided to China by the British government with a partial refund of the Chinese Boxer Indemnity.
In 1916, Chen Jing Tang founded the Liuzhou Electric Light Company, marking the beginning of Liuzhou's public electricity and urban lighting.
In 1925, the New Guangxi Clique focused on developing new industries as a priority for revitalizing the economy to enhance military power. Among them, Liuzhou was a key focus, with the construction of the Xianggui and Qian-Gui Railways and the establishment of technical schools.
Liuzhou Machinery Factory, located in Jila Village by the Liujang River, was established in 1928 and later renamed Guangxi Machinery Factory, becoming the 'Industrial Center of Guangxi' at that time.
In 1931, Liuzhou Machinery Factory successfully replicated the British single-wing primary trainer aircraft. After the outbreak of the war of resistance, the aircraft produced in batches under the 'Zhu Rongzhang number' made remarkable achievements in the air battles against Japan.
In 1933, Liuzhou Machinery Factory equipped a vehicle powered by charcoal, marking the beginning of automobile production in Guangxi. Liuzhou was once known as the 'heart of Guangxi's industry'.
During the 'First Five-Year Plan' (1953-1957), Liuzhou's industry began to take the shape of 'heavy industrialization'. It greatly promoted the development of the city, and Liuzhou gradually became a new emerging industrial city in the south.
The Nanning Conference in 1958 determined the construction of Liuzhou's ten major industrial projects.
Even a 1TB stomach can't handle the Liuzhou two-day one-night travel guide
Liuzhou is really a city that once you visit, you'll want to come again. The Bauhinia flowers in Liuzhou are expected to be in full bloom by mid-April, so here's a complete two-day one-night guide to eating, drinking, and having fun in Liuzhou
❤️❤️The following guide is planned according to the distance and time between various locations
💛DAY1, Liuzhou Station - Rent an e-scooter/Take a taxi - Luosifen - Return to hotel - Bauhinia flowers (location below) - Xin Shihui Beef and Beef Offal Hotpot - Yaobu Ancient Town - Hotel - North Station Night Market/Shengli Barbecue City - Hotel
💚DAY 2, Hotel - Qingyun Minsheng Market - Longtan Park - Luosifen at various shops - Liuzhou Industrial Museum/Wuxing Road Pedestrian Street - Duck Feet Pot/Luosifen - Liuzhou Station.
❗️❗️Key points to note:
1⃣Liuzhou is quite small, and an electric scooter can usually last a day's charge. Taxis start at 6 yuan, and the distances are generally just a few to a dozen yuan. If the weather permits, it's recommended to rent an e-scooter. There are many places to rent electric vehicles near Liuzhou Station, such as Xiaoniu Electric Vehicles, etc. You can rent one right after getting off the high-speed train, and if you run out of power, you can swap for another e-scooter at a nearby chain store, for about 30-40 yuan a day
2⃣For accommodation, choose a place near the five-star hotels, within walking distance to Qingyun Minsheng Market, North Station Night Market, etc. If you're renting an e-scooter, you can opt for a slightly further hotel with better value for money haha
3⃣For Luosifen, it's up to personal choice, no specific recommendations. If you don't mind queuing, you can try the popular stores. Besides the longer wait, popular stores are less likely to disappoint, and the taste is usually good. I've casually tried a few non-popular Luosifen stores, and the taste was also great haha
4⃣I visited Liuzhou on 3.31, and the Bauhinia flowers were almost not blooming yet. Locals told me that the best time to see the Bauhinia flowers in Liuzhou is expected to be from mid-April to early May. Below is the flower viewing guide❗️
🌸【Photo-taking routes】
Jinglan Road, Liushi Road, Wenhui Road, Shuinan Road, Tanzhong West Road, Wenchang Road, Binjiang East Road, Dongdi Road, Xidi Road, Hualing Area Roads, Binjiang West Road, Binjiang East Road, Hangyi Road, Huanjiang Riverside Avenue, etc.
🌸Flower viewing parks: Liuhou Park, Binjiang Park, Zoo, Garden Expo Park, Yufeng Park, Longtan Park, Shuangyu Hui North Road, Panlong Mountain Park, Queer Mountain Park, Citizen Square, etc.
You can choose according to your own distance, Bauhinia flowers are everywhere
5⃣Yaobu Ancient Town looks better when the lights are on at night. Xin Shihui Beef and Beef Offal Hotpot is just outside Yaobu Ancient Town, so you can stroll around Yaobu Ancient Town after eating at Xin Shihui (it's recommended to go early, otherwise you might have to queue). If you want to take photos, you can rent a set of ethnic minority costumes there (about 50), and if you want someone to help with makeup, it will cost about 100 more. Go early, as the good-looking clothes get picked out if it's too late
