Radegast Station

If you happen to be in Lodz, the Radegast station is informative and eye opening. Inside the station is a newly constructed Lodz model and there is a art/history piece consisting of a tunnel you walk through. As you walk, lights come on with each region representing a year--images and text are used effectively. If you are in Lodz, a worthy stop particularly with a tour guide..educational and moving. The museum was undergoing some renovations, but even what we saw outdoors was moving. The station is small - just one old train and one small station building, with a few simple but impressive murals and plaques on the walls around it. Enough to move me to tears thinking about the atrocities committed here during the war. #lodz #ghetto #radegast #memory
