Le Jardin of France

#myhiddengems Back in the days, Loire valley was indeed refered to as the Garden of France. That fact right there had my mind set of visiting it. I'm a big fan of gardens and park, particularly in very wonderful France. And that wasn't it. Upon visiting this place, I think it has amongst the best castles from renaissance and medival times. The likes of Château de Chambord and Château de Chenonceau are beyond comparison. On a day trip you're looking forward to not just chateaux and gardens. But the incredible scenery that the Loire river offers too. The area also has a rich winemaking history. I can't quite recollect the name of the vineyard which was merely 20 minutes away. But it was a fantastic experience. This is one of those places where you can't pull up names or point out this and that. The place and its ambience as a whole is what works. There is also the town of Blois where you could stroll around or stop for lunch or any meal of the day. It's got a town square, a castle, park and some museums too that I only found out about much later.
