St. James Park - London

Due to its geographical position - between Buckingham Palace and Big Ben - this park has long been the most visited in the UK. It is considered the oldest in London, as it was used by Henry VIII as a hunting ground in the 16th century. The park has a river that most tourists mistake for a lake. Local residents are pelicans, calmly watching tourists, and squirrels, begging for or stealing food. St. James Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and its 57 acres. There are many memorials, fountains and statues to discover at the park. One of the most recognisable is the Queen Victoria Memorial. At the heart of the park there is the Tiffany Fountain, a striking 20ft water plume. #visitlondon
