#markets Always a treat with a plethora of food types. Everything from traditional British to Thai, Lebanese to Italian, Indian to Mediterranean. It's full of alleyways with pubs, shops, food stalls, craft stuff, wine tasting, cheese makers. Easily could spend a day here and not see it all. Sundays are a full market. Scotch eggs and sausages rolls from the ginger pig are top notch as are the salt beef burgers and bagels from nana fannys kitchen stall. 👌 The olive, cider, fishmonger, and cheese selections are also vast and great quality. Borough yards are round the back where more shops, exhibitions and curiosities await. Not for people who don't like crowds. There are a few seating areas but can be a struggle to find a seat occasionally. #100waysoftravel
