London Eye

The London Eye is a large Ferris wheel that opened to the public in 2000 for the British Millennium Project. At the beginning of construction, it was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest Ferris wheel with a height of up to 135 metres, but unfortunately it was overtaken by the Nanchang Star of the People's Republic of China, which was built in 2006. It takes about 30 minutes to go around. There are many famous buildings along the Thames River, and you can see tall buildings from above, such as the Big Ben and the Tower Bridge.
