October's Longji Terraced Fields are simply too beautiful, the rice begins to turn yellow at the end of September, gradually changing from green to a golden ocean. This year's rice harvest time is October 29th, you can go anytime before this. Longji Terraced Fields scenic area is very large, mainly three terraces, Jinkeng Dazhai Terraced Fields, Ping'an Terraced Fields and Ancient Zhuang Terraced Fields. The ticket is 80 yuan, applicable to all three villages, the three villages are quite far apart, the relative position is shown in Figure 9, if there is no traffic jam, the whole journey will take about 7 hours. Ping'an Terraced Fields: Here the terraces are the most beautiful of the three villages, and it's the easiest to get good photos with a mobile phone. There are two official viewing platforms, and one unofficial super beautiful viewing point we found. Navigate to 'Ping'an Zhuang Terraced Fields Viewing Area - Multi-storey Car Park', you can only drive up to here, then walk (40 minutes) or take a sightseeing car up. Jiulong Wuhu Viewing Platform: First recommendation, take the sightseeing car directly from the car park, round trip 50 yuan, you can go down to the terraces, the scenery is very beautiful, good for taking photos, Figure 2 was taken here. Seven Stars with Moon Viewing Platform: Second recommendation, walk half an hour from Jiulong Wuhu along the stone road, it's all flat, not tiring. The view for taking photos here is not very good, there are tree tops blocking, but the view is still very beautiful, you can climb to the top of the viewing tower to see. San Yang Kai Tai Viewing Point (randomly named): Second recommendation, this point is on the way from Jiulong Wuhu to Seven Stars with Moon, it was accidentally discovered, the angle for taking photos is super good, I marked the location in Figure 10, Figures 1,3,4 were all taken here. Jinkeng Dazhai Terraced Fields: Jinkeng Terraces have the largest area, the most layers of terraces, and the most spectacular scenery, but the terraces are quite far from the viewing platform, it's not easy to get good photos with a mobile phone, it's more suitable for drones or SLR mirrorless cameras. There are three viewing platforms: No.2 Viewing Platform (Thousand Layer Staircase Viewing Platform): First recommendation, the view is excellent, very spectacular, you can drive directly, you can go down to the terraces. Navigate to 'Longji Ke Lai Fu Mountain Villa', and walk for 3 minutes to get to the viewing platform. No. Viewing Platform (Xi Shan Shao Le): Second recommendation, the view is also very good, you can drive directly, you can go down to the terraces. Navigate to 'Longji Terraced Fields Yi Jing Pan Homestay' to get there, the end has a 500m narrow and steep road, non-experienced drivers are advised to stop near 'Longji Terraced Fields Mei Shang Homestay' and walk up. No.3 Viewing Platform (Golden Buddha Peak): Second recommendation, you need to take a cable car up, round trip 100 yuan, opposite No.2 Viewing Platform, the view is similar to No.1 and No.2, the advantage is that you can overlook the terraces from the cable car. Navigate to Jinkeng Dazhai Car Park (also called Longji Da Yao Terraced Fields Viewing Area - Car Park), the cable car ticket office is next to the car park. Ancient Zhuang Terraced Fields: This is the smallest area of terraces, the scenery is quite ordinary, if you don't have plenty of time, it's not recommended to go, because it's early rice, the rice turns yellow one month earlier than other places, it's best to go in August, September.
