The Garland.

From start to finish, we absolutely LOVED this quaint retro boutique hotel! We were warmly greeted on arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect (loved the decor) for the two of us and our little dog. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good night's rest. Four of us and the dog had dinner at the on-site restaurant (dogs allowed on the terrace). Dinner took about an hour to get to us (new computer system and Dine LA (big event) in progress. Our waiter kept us updated and apologized for the delay. We spent some time catching up, so everything worked fine .Once the food arrived, the heat was good, the cocktails... YUM - the mai tai didn't come as I would normally expect, a bit of a twist... the best I've ever tasted. In short, I would say, this hotel exceeded our expectations... we were pleasantly surprised at every turn. Will definitely stay here again on future visits to Los Angeles (our son is moving to the area so it was a trip to visit him) We only came for a 24 hour turn around, and oh how we wish we could have stayed longer long time... but there will be a next time - and I'm already looking forward to it. #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
