Yuantong Temple

National key cultural relics protection unit. Located in the mountains about 2 kilometers away from Yusi Town. It was first built in the first year of Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty (1506), and has been repaired many times during the Ming Wanli, Qing Guangxu, and the early years of this century. The four characters on the Shanmen (mountain gate) plaque, 'Yuantong Chanlin', were inscribed by Ruan Shixing, the governor of Luzhou during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.
