Traveling is a part of children's growth and life. Previously, I accompanied my sister on her graduation trip, and this time I am accompanying my younger sister on her elementary school graduation trip. We arrived in Lanzhou two days early and, with the company of friends, explored the two mountains and one river🙏... We did a city walk in Lanzhou, and then we embarked on a secret journey to Gannan, encountering thousand-year-old legends. Some say: if going to Tibet is an addiction, then Gannan is the best cure. I haven't been to Tibet yet, so I came to the Gannan Poetry Festival first. Beautiful Gannan, with high mountains, flowing water, and colorful clouds, Gannan is by the Milky Way.🌟 Gannan, fully known as Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, is a region with beautiful natural scenery, rich ethnic culture, and important ecological status. I once saw a friend recommend Gannan for study tours and was moved by the blue sky, white clouds, grasslands, rivers, lakes, and Tibetan culture there. I always wanted to bring my younger sister. Last time, during my trip to Jiuquan, Gansu, I learned about the Gannan Poetry Festival. This hot summer season is perfect for a spontaneous trip to Gannan, with its grasslands and naturally beautiful scenery. Poetic Gansu, Silk Road wind for three thousand miles, Gesang flowers blooming, Gannan Poetry Festival awaits you. Here are two places I visited: 1. Gaxiu Village's Shai Jintan Tent City: Located in Luqu County, 1 kilometer south of Gaxiu Village, in the heart of the Luqu grassland, it consists of 108 Tibetan-style tents of various sizes arranged in a lotus flower shape. The entire tent city looks like a pure and beautiful white lotus, warmly welcoming guests from all directions. The tent city not only showcases traditional Tibetan architectural styles but also incorporates modern tourism elements, making it a highlight of the Gannan region. It is a great place to experience Tibetan customs and an important window to showcase Tibetan culture. Here, you can enjoy traditional Tibetan songs and dances, taste authentic Tibetan cuisine, and feel the rich Tibetan cultural atmosphere, having an unforgettable Tibetan-style trip. White, red, purple... flowers, lying on them, feeling the beauty of nature with your body, laughing and talking with family. 2. Gahai Lake: A pearl on the plateau, located in Gahai Township, Luqu County, the largest freshwater lake in the Gannan region, an important wetland on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The lake water is clear, with lush aquatic plants, surrounded by large swamps and several small lakes, forming a unique wetland ecosystem. Surrounded by mountains, the scenery is pleasant. We enjoyed the natural scenery together, and there are many birds inhabiting here. Dad took aerial photos here, capturing beautiful pictures of me and my mom, and a photographer left us with wonderful memories. Gahai (ga) has various names in Tibetan, such as "Jiangtuocuo Gan," "Lejiashoum," and "Jiangcuo," meaning "ancient plateau lake" or "cold plateau lake." Local herders call it the "sacred lake of the plateau," and the Tibetan people love this land. We came and fell in love with Gannan too. This trip is not about rushing but about being intoxicated with nature. In Gannan's embrace, we are not here to check off a list but to genuinely feel the gentleness of nature. Every step we take as a family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 is filled with mystery, and every moment is full of charm. Relax, the sense of ease is fully expressed here. We found inner peace in Gannan, with scenery as beautiful as a painting, making it hard to leave. The grassland is beautiful, but being on the plateau, don't get too excited. Tips: 1. Gannan is a plateau area with an average altitude of around 3,000 meters. Those with large lung capacity should be aware of altitude sickness and prepare glucose and oxygen bottles in advance. 2. The plateau area has large temperature differences between morning and evening, with occasional wind and rain. Remember to bring warm clothes, including fleece and jackets, to avoid catching a cold. 3. Pay attention to sun protection and mosquito repellent, and prevent acclimatization issues. 4. For those traveling with children, bring fruits, snacks, bread, water💦... dry food. The grassland is vast, and while filming🎬, you might lose track of time, so don't go hungry!
