Gansu Langmu Temple is located at 251 Geerdi Temple, Langmu Temple Town, Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province.

The full name of Gansu Langmu Temple is Dacang Langmu Saichi Temple. It is located in Langmu Temple Town, Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, at the junction of Gansu, Qinghai, and Sichuan provinces. At an altitude of 3,480 meters, it is the most important temple in the Amdo region after Ta'er Monastery and Labrang Monastery, and is known for its academic atmosphere. The temple's architecture is unique, resplendent, and magnificent from a distance, making it a great photo spot. The temple has more than ten buildings, including the Great Sutra Hall, Maitreya Hall, Golden Tile Hall, Continuation Sutra Hall, Longevity Hall, Mahakala Hall, and Zen Tower, as well as five colleges of study: Wensi, Continuation, Kalachakra, Medicine, and Woodblock Printing. Behind the temple is a sky burial platform, the only one in Gannan that is open to visitors. Not for the faint-hearted. Tickets for Gansu Langmu Temple are CNY 30 per person, and it is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The slope on the west side of Saichi Temple, where the Buddha is exposed to the sun, is a great place to take panoramic photos of the red stone cliff and the temple at sunset.
