Zhaojue Ancient City—a sediment of Shu Kingdom's historical culture

A 2200-year-old ancient city quietly awaits my arrival. Ancient Han city walls, Jiameng Pass, Qinglin Gate, Zhanfeng Gate, Confucian Temple, County Government Office, Examination Halls, and Jinghou Temple ruins bear witness to the extraordinary history of this ancient city in Bashu. Walking slowly on the wet bluestone streets after the rain, I am intoxicated by the unique charm of this ancient city on the banks of the Jialing River, a key route between Qin and Shu.
