Sailing on the blue sea, entering a dreamy state, the sailboat braves the stormy waves.

"The Maritime Museum" is located in front of the A-Ma Temple in Macau. The museum is built on the site where the first group of Portuguese landed, and it opened in 1987. The museum's architecture resembles a three-masted sailing ship with white sails, anchored in front of the A-Ma Temple. The museum is divided into four areas: Maritime Folk Customs Exhibition Hall, Historical Exhibition Hall, Technology Exhibition Hall, and Aquarium. Through exhibits such as objects, models, and pictures, the museum introduces the fishing methods and traditional fishing boats of southern China, scientific technology and transportation, and the maritime history of Portugal and China, allowing people to understand how Macau has transformed from a fishing village to the present-day city.
