Andaz Macau Hotel | Check-in the fifth Andaz in China

🏨This trip to Macau was my first experience with the newly opened Andaz Macau Hotel in mid-September. The hotel is located within the Galaxy Macau Resort and is the largest Andaz in the world. The hotel design is inspired by antique merchant houses, and all the staff I met were very enthusiastic, offering services in at least four languages (Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Portuguese), super pro! 🥧The Andaz Lounge opposite the front desk on the 6th floor has an open design, like a refined residential living room. It offers simple snacks as well as coffee and soft drinks for hotel guests, and is a social space characteristic of the Andaz brand. There are also many other large pieces of art in the hotel, cartoon metal art installations with different themes, incorporating some of Macau's local historical buildings, famous landmarks and the lifestyle of local residents, very interesting. 🐂Andaz Kitchen mainly serves Macau-Portuguese cuisine, very suitable for gatherings and sharing, it's great for families and friends to come, each dish is quite large and of high standard; staying at the hotel and having breakfast at the Kitchen, there are a lot of choices, I especially recommend their pan-fried buns, I can eat half a dozen. 🍷The Andaz Bar is right in front of the Kitchen, very suitable for a few drinks after dinner. The bartender is very humorous, if he's free he will come and chat to understand your taste and then customize cocktails, you can also try the Andaz special here, very story-telling. The atmosphere at night is particularly good, and the consumption is not particularly high, if you are gathering with friends in Macau, this is the first choice for a slight drunkenness. 🛏️The interior decoration of the room is mainly in fresh dark green and orange, the color matching looks very lively. The bathtub is a standard feature of the basic room, the large bottle of wash, care and shower three-piece set is customized by Andaz Macau Hotel, toothbrush, comb and other 'six small pieces', slipper packaging are also specially customized, the pattern and landmark buildings on it are related to Macau culture and the characteristics of the old city. The Italian LAVAZZA coffee machine in the room is also standard, which is not common in hotels; the box of Ying Kee Biscuit Factory's Macau specialty on the table is also a gift, remember to take it away! The first round of the mini bar is also free. 🧳As Macau is a fusion of Chinese and Western cultures, between the front desk and the lounge of Andaz Macau, two sets of window displays left a deep impression on me, namely the high-end custom-made dresses 'Golden Phoenix' and 'Dreamy Mountains' made of gold thread embroidery, paired with the exquisitely made antique vases 'Glass Horizon 1930' and 'Liu Li Mountain 1840', are the cultural visual hammer in my mind from this trip to Andaz Macau.
