The A-Ma Temple, originally known as Haijue Temple, also known as Mazu Pavilion and commonly referred to as Tianhou Palace, is located in front of the A-Ma Temple in the Macau Special Administrative Region of China. It is an important part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a World Cultural Heritage site. The cliff carvings of 'Taiyi' also indicate a close relationship between the A-Ma Temple and Taoism. Nearby is the Haijue Stone. 3. Starting from midnight on New Year's Eve, many devotees come here to worship and pray for blessings. The temple is bustling inside and out, and during the birthday period, a large tent is set up in front of the temple as a temporary stage for performing sacred operas. 2. Next to the Mazu Pavilion, there are streets with Portuguese-style architecture as the main theme. The green main buildings, combined with a simple style, also make it a great spot for photography.
