Macau 2024 First Japanese Contemporary Art Exhibition Experience

We were lucky enough to visit Macau’s first contemporary Japanese art exhibition in 2024. This exhibition is held at Sands Art Gallery - the gallery will open in February 2022 and is located on the sixth floor of Four Seasons. It is Sands China's permanent art space. Their goal is to bring a variety of art exhibitions to guests and promote the sustainable development of the local cultural and creative industry. Recommended: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Topic: Japanese Culture Venue: Sands Gallery@Four Seasons Macau On display are the works of exclusive artists from the Japanese gallery UG, including never-before-seen artworks by Kunihiko Nohara, Yuki Oki, Nami Okada, Hiroya Yoshikawa, Etoku Toizumi, and Ryosuke Kawahira. The works include large and small sculptures, traditional style media and fabric-based works. This exhibition wants to bring out the close relationship between light, color and Japanese art. During this visit, I was deeply attracted by the design inside the gallery. From flat paintings to 3D real models, various art forms are presented, which makes me feel the diversity and three-dimensionality of art. Each work is full of details and creativity, making people marvel at the artist's imagination and skills. Another thing that makes me feel comfortable is that there are not many people here and the environment is quite quiet. I can quietly appreciate the art here, immerse myself in my own thinking, and feel the tranquility and inspiration brought by art. This quiet environment gives me more space to understand and appreciate each piece of art, and it also gives me a deeper understanding and feeling of art. Although the space of "Sands Art Gallery" is not large, they cleverly used multiple intervals to create a maze-like sense of adventure. There may be new surprises waiting for me at every corner, allowing me to enjoy the fun of exploration while appreciating art. This design makes the space more interesting and makes me look forward to every corner of the gallery. Overall, this visit was a very enriching and enjoyable experience.
