The Malmö City Library looks like a museum on the outside, and like a bookstore on the inside. The design is quite modern, with many comfortable reading spaces and ergonomic chairs that make people want to sit down and rest. After a renovation in the late 1990s, more than one million people visit the library every year. The Stadsbibliotek is considered one of the coolest architectural libraries in the world and it has two distinct sections; the Castle and the Calendar of Light. The castle is the historical part of the library, and the Light Calendar, designed by Danish architect Henning Larsen, is a large cubic building with glass windows facing the park, allowing a lot of light to pass through. #swedishtravel
