Scenic Matanuska River

#Alaska #fall Running alongside the North Glenn Highway is the Matanuska River, a 75-mile-long river in South-central Alaska. During our drive to the Matanuska Glacier for the Glacier Tour, we found ourselves compelled to stop at each viewpoint along the road to capture moments with the scenic view of the river. Despite some parts of the riverbed being dry, the remaining water still offered us a stunning panoramic landscape. Visiting in September, we were greeted by the sight of the forest transitioning into a beautiful yellow backdrop, adding to the charm of the scenery.
