Medan Maimun, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20151, Indonesia Getting there : Fly to Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia then cab down to the Palace. The Royal Palace of Sultanate Of Deli is a well known landmark of Medan. Painted in Yellow. Malay Archipelago Sultan and Sultanas favour the colour yellow to represent royalty and sovereignty. Today the palace become a museum and it is open to public. You can even rent traditional costumes of Deli to have a photo op session at the palace. It is the last standing surviving Di Raja Melayu Palace, the rest has been destroyed in Indonesia during the 1946 Social Revolution. #passionpassport

38 Coffee Lab is a great place to just chill & relax with friends and family. It's pretty quiet and the only noise that really filled the air were the conversations from other tables. People just like my brother and I who were sitting there, relaxing or doing our work. Furthermore, it was really easy to get work done as they provided free wi-fi that was very fast and constant. Coffee was really good, given so that the cafe is helmed by the runner up of Indonesia's Aeropress Championship '17. I did see reviews online of people praising the Avocado Float. However, I never got a chance to try it as I didn't know about it, firstly. And of course that I would always prefer a cup of latte over everything else. #passionpassport

I did enjoy my stay at Aryaduta Medan. It felt very new to me, and was well maintained. Even the bed was comfortable, and I really did enjoy coming back to the room every night. It was also nice to wake up to a view or maybe sound of kids splashing & laughing around in the pool. We did stay there over the weekend after all. To top it all off (and oh, I think I forgot to mention this), you have to take a lift up from the ground floor to level 8 or 11? I can't remember. But that's where you'll find the front desk/ check in counter. Not being situated on the ground floor has also allowed the hotel to have stunning views of Medan City. #passionpassport
