Cheng Hoon Teng Temple

This is one of the most famous temples to visit in Malacca. It's called Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. This temple is not too far from Jonker Street, it is really close to everything and easy to get to. It is a Chinese Buddhist temple that is a few hundred years old. I believe it's known as the oldest Chinese temple in all of Malaysia. It has nice, ornate decorations and looks beautiful. It was renovated not too long ago, so it's in great condition despite its age and history. Despite it being near a busy place, it's clean, well-maintained, quiet and peaceful. It's quite small so a ten-minute tour will suffice. If you're visiting Malacca for the first time, this temple should be on your list.
