The Chinese Academy of Sciences Xishuangbanna Botanical Garden is divided into the West and East areas; the West area mainly features horticultural plants; the East area is dominated by original tropical rainforests. It takes about 3 hours to tour each area. Accommodation: To "wake up to the sounds of birds and insects", and for the "night of fireflies", we booked the Victoria Lotus Hotel. The Victoria Lotus Hotel is the only accommodation within the garden, located in the West area, with the shade plant garden right opposite the hotel lobby. (We booked a twin room more than a month in advance during the summer vacation on Ctrip, 1388 per night, including tickets for 2 adults and 1 child to the botanical garden, with 2 breakfasts included) Booking a hotel room allows you to drive into the botanical garden from the East gate, and the room includes botanical garden tickets for two adults and one child (children under 1.2 meters are free, and children under 1.4 meters pay half price). The first time you drive in, you need to call the hotel front desk from the East gate to report your license plate number, and the car can be parked in the parking lot outside the hotel lobby. With the hotel room card, you can drive in and out of the botanical garden's East gate multiple times. -
