Looking from afar, the ladder reaches into the sea of clouds, the treetop corridor leads to a secluded path

If there is one place in Xishuangbanna that you must visit, I would choose Wangtianshu without hesitation. It is not only an oxygen bar and a plant paradise, but also a place full of life's twists and legends. Golden cloud dress and peacock dance, jade wrist and willow eyebrows exude warmth. Under the worry-free tree, rouge smiles, climbing dragons and phoenixes, vines grow on trees. People from the north welcome spring from thousands of miles away, the Bodhi tree bears no fruit, all turns to dust. On the Wangtianshu, parasitic orchids await the flowers to bloom, just like the journey of life. The Wangtianshu Scenic Area in Xishuangbanna is the only tropical rainforest in China recognized by the world. This well-preserved tropical rainforest once shocked the world due to the discovery by botanist Cai Xitao and the testimony of Prince Philip of the United Kingdom. The Wangtianshu, a symbolic tree species representing the tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia, stands 70 to 100 meters tall. A 36-meter-high treetop corridor winds hundreds of meters in the air, snaking between towering giant trees. Looking up, the treetops resemble open umbrellas, shading the clouds and blocking the sun. Occasionally, sunlight filters through the gaps, scattering like golden light, offering a unique feeling. Although the height does not induce heart-pounding fear, it does evoke a sense of grandeur and a lofty ambition. Under the Wangtianshu, there are many mysterious rainforest wonders: strangling, parasitism, epiphytism. In the dense rainforest, numerous plants compete for survival and reproduction, showcasing the charm of nature and mirroring the various aspects of human life.
