A quiet yet solemn place. The Russian ladies who guard the residence, though elderly and not very agile, are all sharp-eyed and never waste time playing on their phones. They sit quietly, watching the visitors from afar, never letting their guard down. They occasionally approach visitors, either to stop them or to guide them, diligently fulfilling their duties, which is truly admirable. After all, they are guarding the true soul and spirit of their nation! Chekhov, forever kind and perceptive, forever brave and generous! I hope to follow in the footsteps of the master and visit all the places he stayed in my lifetime.
