Day trip to Munich during a layover in Germany

There is a 15-hour layover on Lufthansa's flight to Iceland, considering 2-3 hours for waiting and 2 hours for round-trip transportation to the city, there is about 10 hours left to take a brief tour in the city. ♻️Day trip route: Grain Market - Munich Beer Festival - Shopping at Maria Square and Karl Square - Cathedral of Our Lady - Exterior of Munich Palace. Depart from the airport at 7:30 and purchase a day ticket (refer to my other note), then you can travel by subway and walking for the whole journey. Most of the attractions and beer festivals in Munich start at 10 o'clock. It takes more than 40 minutes to reach the center of the universe, Maria Square, by taking the S1 line. The Maria Square at 8:30 is empty and quiet, which is very different from the busy scene after 10 o'clock. The only business before 10 o'clock is the Grain Market. In fact, most of the shops other than coffee shops and meat and vegetable shops are not open yet. I bought a huge twisted bread Breze for about 4 euros, and the taste can only be said to be trying to experience the characteristics. I queued up a restaurant where many locals were queuing, Unser KAFFEE, with an average price of about 4 euros, which is not cheap, and the taste of the beans is mediocre. During the beer festival, there are many tourists in the old town, and many people come to the streets in traditional Bavarian costumes, and the festive atmosphere is very strong. You need to take the subway again to leave the city to reach the BMW Museum, which is also open on Sundays like other museums in the city. If you have more time, you can also go to the New Swan Castle, which is a 2-hour drive from Munich. You need to buy tickets in advance.
