Bavarian food at Augustiner am Platzl

#2023travelwish We went to this restaurant on Christmas Eve, the restaurant is open until 2pm. Therefore the Christmas ambience is very strong inside the restaurant. A group of musicians are singing and playing instruments inside the restaurant. Augustiner am Platzl is located at Orlando street, is walking distance from Residenz Munchen. Authentic Germany restaurant located at the centre of the city. We ordered the traditional tavern food, roast pork with crackling crust, grilled Bavarian sausages and of course ice cooling Augustiner Dunkel. Best ever Christmas Eve lunch we have.
