Leaving the park, I walk into the warm and welcoming shopping streets. Whether it's a handicraft shop or a bookstore filled with the aroma of coffee, each exudes a strong sense of personality and warmth. I stop by an antique shop, rummaging through old items, as if traveling through time, seeking another aspect of life. In the evening, the lights of small restaurants on the streets begin to illuminate. I choose an izakaya and order a few specialty dishes, feeling the unique warmth and liveliness of this neighborhood. The charm of Kichijoji lies in its poetic natural beauty and its embrace of everyday life, like a melodious nocturne that one can't help but savor repeatedly.
