Nairobi National Park

Established in 1946, it is the only national park in the world situated so close to a capital city. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species. It features open grass plains, acacia bush, and the Athi River, providing a variety of habitats. The park also hosts the Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, famous for its elephant and rhino orphanage.
