Hells Gate

Covering approximately 68.25 square kilometers, the park features towering cliffs, gorges, rock formations, and hot springs. Named after a narrow break in the cliffs once a tributary of a prehistoric lake, Hell's Gate offers various outdoor activities, including hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. Visitors can see zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and diverse bird species. The park is also home to the Olkaria Geothermal Station, one of Kenya's key renewable energy projects.
