Gaoping District Wuliang Pagoda (Nanchong White Pagoda).

Wuliang Pagoda, also known as Nanchong White Pagoda, is located in the Heping Mountain Scenic Area, Baita Subdistrict, Gaoping District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, at the west end of the Jialing River Bridge. It was built during the Jianlong period of the Northern Song Dynasty (960–963) and was originally named Jianlong Wanshou Pagoda. Wuliang Pagoda is one of the Song Dynasty pagodas in Sichuan that retains the style of Tang Dynasty pagodas. It is a square, 13-story, imitation wooden pavilion-style brick pagoda with a total height of 37.1 meters. The base of the pagoda is made of stone strips. The body of the pagoda is made of blue bricks, with imitation wooden beams and brackets, and each side of each story has four columns and three bays, with the eaves protruding. The outer walls of the second to tenth stories have small niches, a total of 108, each of which originally had a statue. The pagoda is hollow, and can be entered through the main door on the first story. There is a brick staircase from the first to the fourth story, and from the fifth story, only one person can climb to the top of the pagoda. The top of the pagoda is made of iron, with a hollow center.
